ANOTHER CRY

Another page of my life
That I have to tear  off my book
For the memories are so painful
Even for the heartless to bear

So I have decided
No painful blood shall run i n my veins
From now towards eternity

No more pain shall I have to bear
All in the name of sacred relations
Taboos shall be broken
In my search for the sweet life

It is best that he gets to know
That a snake's poisonous venom
Is a billion times better
Than the venom of a hurt heart
Seeking revenge of the oppressors
No more cries in my eyes no more tears.

I'll need back my heart now,
And the keys as well,
My bags are now well packed
Yours to the left; mine to the right.

Maybe that what you get
For only renting keys to your heart
It wasn't worth the sacrifice.

Maybe then i had a reason
To reveal you brilliant teeth,
A smile was worth the sacrifice,

Because i encountered a great lifestyle

surrounding me with your kisses and hugs,

I just wanted to let you know that i love you
when sometimes i act stupid and stubborn it doesn't
change the fact that you're in my heart and i can't
bear to see you heart, much less because of my own doing

joy mine.Hope the love we share can be strong enough to
wipe out all my sill mistake and i can see you smile at me again

MY HUSBAND HAS GONE

My husband has gone
to where fate takes me
he's gone and left me a widow
and gone with everything of mine

I have heard other laugh
laughing with their husbands
but mine has gone
and has left me a pauper

He told me he was going to home

i have heard other people say
that prostitutes expose their private parts

I have seen others go to the swamp
to look for perfumes
why should i go there
when my husband has gone?

They get us angry

Sometimes we do hate them

But there's a painful fact

That they are there to stay

So many time do you cry

Asking God why such a position

It looks like bad lack

at times it gets to you
